PGS Higher Award Fair and Networking Event

The Girl Scout Gold Award, Silver Award and Bronze Award prove you've got what it takes to build a better today - and tomorrow.

Pelham Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the highest awards offered through Girl Scouts USA are invited to the Pelham Girl Scouts Higher Award Fair and Networking Event part of Pelham Girl Scouts Wellness Day offerings.

  • Juniors earn the Bronze Award by teaming up with other girls to make a difference in their towns.

  • Cadettes earn the Silver Award by researching an issue, making a plan to address it, and then taking action to improve their communities.

  • Seniors and Ambassadors earn the Gold Award—the highest award in Girl Scouting—by developing and carrying out lasting solutions to issues in their neighborhoods and beyond. Gold Award Girl Scouts truly are the world changers, rock stars, role models, and real-life heroes we all look up to. Plus, they’re amazing candidates for colleges, scholarships, competitive internship programs, and exciting careers.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn what it takes to achieve the Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards, meet potential award mentors and hear your fellow Pelham Girl Scouts present their awards.

During this event Girl Scouts will visit presentation tables individually and in small groups to meet Pelham Girl Scouts currently working on their award projects.

This event has two components, the Pelham Girl Scouts Higher Award Fair 4pm-5pm and the PGS Networking and Presentations component 5pm - 6pm during which scouts will meet other Pelham Girls Scouts, potential award mentors, leaders and community members.  There are also some wonderful and inspiring Girl Scout Alumna who will present toward the end of the networking session.

We ask that you:

  • Wear Girl Scout Uniform or Insignia

  • Come with questions in mind for project presenters.

  • Introduce yourself! You never know who may be a potential "helper" in your award journey!
